For those who say I’m afraid to show my scars.
For those who say I don’t feel beautiful without  makeup.
For those who say I hide behind my hair.

This is me, as I am, and I’m ashamed of nothing. The bones, the fat, the scars. They don’t scare me.

I aim one day for this sort of fearlessness. I choose the word fearlessness intentionally, as to me the word confidence signifies something different to me.

I love this photo and this blogger. This picture isn’t “traditionally” beautiful but I simply adore it.
Not only for the anaesthetic beauty but for the strength in her eyes. I wouldn’t want to fuck with her.
